Up and down

Daniel persists in his virtual state, and I start to realize that I am depending on him more and more with each passing day. It's in the tears of relief that softly trickle down my freckled face when I hear the chime that marks his virtual arrival. I can't help but feeling that he's been placed into my life for an important reason.

Wild Thing is away with her father for the first half of the March break. In her absence, our shared place of suburban residence feels more like a house than a home. It's been tidy for several consecutive days, and I miss her a lot.
