I stumbled across a set of Anais Nin quotes this morning during quiet hour... around the time that I was watching a half-moon cross the slate gray sky. I was riveted. I identified with this quote list at every level. I may not be as unique as I once thought.
I've met another man online. My numbering system has collapsed, so we'll just refer to him as Daniel. He arrived on the scene almost two weeks ago. He knows full well what I am about. The connection is very deep and powerful, but the timing is off.
He's not ready, he's scared, and he's just about to work that out for himself. I watch passively from the sidelines. Shame that is... he's lovely. It's an in the veins kind of match, hard to explain with my words, but worth noting for my own future reference. I'm grieving.
