How long has this been goin' on?
I had absolutely no idea. So I just looked it up. I retained my adoption agency on Thursday, May 17, 2007. It's hard to believe that was more than 19 months ago! I remain optimistic that we'll be adding Thing 1 and Thing 2 to this family in 2009. By then, I'll have come up with better nicknames for Wild Thing's siblings.

What with everything you've had to go through to get this far, 19 months isn't even so horribe. And given your age range and the unprecedented speediness of CIC recently (long may it last), 2009 seems a good bet.
often we feel like it will NEVER end. we signed in early 2005 and met our kids in mid 2007. It would seem this is more the norm than the exception. Waiting with you!
